My thesis goal is to better understand the oil painting process, learn to narrate a visual story, and develop dynamic lighting and environment within my artwork. Finally, to create a blend of illustration and fine art, a challenge and a pursuit I feel confident I can accomplish with good guidance and instruction moving through the second half of my MFA for painting and drawing.
